The sun slowly settles beyond the western skyline 

casting soft light over the land in dreamlike pastel hues.

The day has ended yet some things that should have been done are left unfinished. 

Still all that can be done has been done.   

The final gleam of sunlight glows briefly; casting intense colors of dusk.

Night will gently encase world in soothing darkness in a few brief moments.
