Once this was a thriving gas station with people coming in and out. Bob's Drive Inn on the corner of highway 75 & highway 3 in Le Mars Iowa is an icon. The best hot dog I have ever had is found here. The taverns  (loose meats, charlie boy or what ever you call them) are simply amazing. When I was growing up there was no indoor seating, you parked your car and walked up to the window to place your order. What was your go to local fast food place? Click for a larger view
